Home remedies to fight skin pigmentation

Skin pigmentation, or hyperpigmentation, is a condition that leads to the development of dark patches that can be of different sizes, on the skin. In almost all cases, skin pigmentation does not cause any harm. However, its occurrence can point towards an underlying health problem. Also, skin pigmentation can have a serious impact on your looks, and for some people that can be a big blow to their self-esteem.

Melanocytes are the cells that are responsible for producing pigment for the body which gives the even color and tone to your skin. These cells produce melanin in the body and this pigment decides the tone and color of your skin. However, when these melanocytes get damaged or become unhealthy, they start malfunctioning.
